Why this works
Why this works
Our own numbers carry the date we ran the screen. Anyone else's carry the publisher and the date, with the link in the sources below.
Patients ask about cost before almost anything else, and the clinics are not the ones answering. When we put the implant cost question to Google AI Mode for Dubai on 8 September 2026, the answer gave a fee range and did not name one clinic. For Abu Dhabi the same day it quoted AED 3,000 to 10,000 and named two clinics. For Sharjah on 9 September 2026 it quoted AED 2,500 to 9,000 and named two providers. The money question has almost nobody in it.
The fees are big enough that patients read every line. Doctors Clinic Dubai, a clinic that publishes its own price guides, puts a complete single tooth implant at AED 5,000 to 15,000 (medically reviewed 19 July 2026) and a full smile of 16 to 20 veneers at AED 30,000 to 80,000 (27 June 2026). A patient weighing numbers that size wants a page that shows the range, the extras and the date.
The plan
The ten steps, in order.
Each step ends with a check. Run it before you move on, so you know the step did what it was meant to.
Step 1. Give every treatment a low fee and a high fee
Write a low and a high figure for each treatment you sell, and set them out in a simple table. A single number starts an argument at the desk, while a range matches how dental work is really quoted. Use your own fees, never a figure lifted from another clinic's page.
How to check it worked Every treatment on the page shows a low and a high figure in AED.
Step 2. Put the line about extra charges right beside the table
The Dubai Healthcare City advertisement policy lets a licensed operator show a fixed fee or a range only if the advert clearly says whether extra charges may apply. If your licence is from DHA or another regulator, read its rule too, but the same line is a safe habit. Name the usual dental extras, such as the scan, an extraction, a bone graft or a temporary crown.
How to check it worked The extra charges line sits within a line or two of the fee table, in the same size type.
Step 3. Write what the fee covers and what it does not
Under each range, add two short lists. The first is what the patient gets for the money, such as the fixture, the abutment and the crown. The second is what is billed on its own, such as the first scan or a graft. Patients read the second list more closely than the first.
How to check it worked A patient could read the page and guess their own bill to within one item.
Step 4. Leave off any money back offer and any discount you have not licensed
The Dubai Healthcare City policy says an advert should not offer money refunds, and DHA Standard 6.11 lists "get money back" among the phrases health adverts must not use. Article 18 of the Consumer Protection Law, Federal Law No. 15 of 2020, bars promotions and general price cuts without a prior licence from the competent authority. If the page carries an offer, get the permit first.
How to check it worked The page has no refund promise and no discount you cannot show a permit for.
Step 5. Answer the insurance question on the same page
Doctors Clinic Dubai writes that most standard plans do not cover implants, and says it bills Daman, AXA, Bupa, MetLife and Cigna directly. Say what your own clinic sees. List the insurers you bill directly, name the treatments they usually approve, and tell the patient to check their own policy before treatment.
How to check it worked The page names your insurers and says plainly which dental work is usually not covered.
Step 6. Show the consultation fee near the top
The first figure a patient wants is the cost of walking in, not the cost of a full arch. Put the consultation fee high on the page and say what it covers, such as the exam and the x-ray. Say whether it comes off the treatment fee if they go ahead.
How to check it worked On a phone, the consultation fee shows without scrolling past the first screen.
Step 7. Say how many visits each treatment takes
Time is part of the price, and for implants it is the part patients guess wrong. Write how many visits each treatment needs and roughly how many weeks or months sit between them. If some work can be done in a single day at your clinic, say which.
How to check it worked Each treatment row shows a visit count and a rough timeline in weeks or months.
Step 8. Write AED on every figure
Put AED in front of every number on the page, as the code or in words. Patients in the UAE compare fees across emirates and across countries, and a bare number leaves them guessing. Skip a second currency unless you will keep it up to date.
How to check it worked Every figure on the page carries AED, and none sits there bare.
Step 9. Print the date you last checked the fees
Add one line at the foot of the page: fees checked, then the date. Fees move, and a dated page is easier to trust and easier to quote. In our screen of 41 UAE dental clinic sites on 9 September 2026, twelve still showed a footer year older than 2026.
How to check it worked The page shows a fees checked date from the last 90 days.
Step 10. Ask the cost question yourself and see if your range comes back
Open a fresh window with no login and ask what your main treatment costs in your area, naming it the way a patient would, such as Al Barsha or Jumeirah. Note the range the answer gives, whether it matches yours, and whether any clinic is named. Save it with the date and ask again in 30 days.
How to check it worked You hold two dated answers to the cost question and can see whether your clinic or your range came back.
The checklist
Tick them off as you go.
We never see your ticks. They stay on the phone or laptop you ticked them on, so you can come back to the list next week.
10 steps to tick.
