Why this works
Why this works
Our own numbers carry the date we ran the screen. Anyone else's carry the publisher and the date, with the link in the sources below.
On 8 and 9 September 2026 we asked Google AI Mode 15 patient questions about dental clinics in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, and it named 50 different clinics. But 40 of those 50 clinics were named in one question only. Just three of them came back in three of the five questions asked in their own city, so nobody owns this answer yet.
We then looked at the 41 dental clinic websites behind those names on 9 September 2026. 29 of them have no Arabic version at all, and four carry no structured data of any kind. Twelve still show a copyright year older than 2026, and the oldest of them reads 1998. The bar in this market is low, and every step below costs nothing.
The plan
The ten steps, in order.
Each step ends with a check. Run it before you move on, so you know the step did what it was meant to.
Step 1. Write down the five questions your patients ask
Sit with your front desk for ten minutes and write the five questions patients ask before they book, in their words and not yours. Ours for Dubai start with "best dentist in Dubai for veneers", "how much do dental implants cost in Dubai" and "best Invisalign provider in Dubai". Keep the list at five questions, because five is short enough to check again every single month.
How to check it worked You have five questions written down, and your front desk agrees a patient really asks each one.
Step 2. Ask all five questions and write down the names
Open a fresh browser window with no login, then ask each of your five questions and write down every clinic the answer names. Do the whole list on one day and put that date at the top of the page. This page of clinic names is your starting score, and it is the only proof you will have that anything changed later.
How to check it worked You have a dated list of clinic names for all five questions, and you can see whether yours is on it.
Step 3. Make your clinic name read the same everywhere
A clinic can easily end up with three names: the name on the licence, the name on the sign, and the short name the team uses on the phone. An assistant that reads three names cannot be sure they belong to one clinic. Pick one name and correct it on your website, your Google listing, your Instagram profile and your invoices.
How to check it worked Search your clinic name and read the first ten results. Every one shows the same spelling.
Step 4. Give each treatment its own page
Build one page for implants, one for veneers, one for clear aligners, one for crowns, one for root canal and one for children. A single treatments page with fourteen items listed on it gives an assistant nothing to point at. Title every page the way a patient would say it out loud in your reception.
How to check it worked Each treatment you sell has its own page, and its title reads like a patient question.
Step 5. Put each dentist's licence number on the page
A patient in Dubai can check any dentist on the DHA Sheryan service, which verifies a licensed professional from their DHA unique ID or licence number. Abu Dhabi publishes Find a Medical Professional on the DoH Lists and Tools page, and Sharjah clinics are licensed by MOHAP. Print the dentist's full name, their role and their licence number on the page, because a number that a patient can check is a fact an assistant will happily repeat.
How to check it worked Paste your dentist's number into Sheryan or the DoH tool and see their record come back.
Step 6. Name the part of the city you sit in
Write the area in words on every page, whether that is Jumeirah, Al Mankhool, Business Bay, Khalifa City, Al Nahda or Rolla. A map pin is only a picture, and the words next to it are the part that gets read. Patients ask for a dental clinic near them, so hand the assistant the name of the place.
How to check it worked Your area name appears in words on your home page and on every treatment page.
Step 7. List your treatments one by one on Google
Open your Google Business Profile and fill in the services list, adding each dental treatment as its own service with one plain line under it. Picking a category and stopping there leaves the list empty. Use the words a patient would use, so write clear aligners as well as Invisalign if you offer it.
How to check it worked Your profile shows a services list with each treatment named, not one line that says dentist.
Step 8. Claim Bing Places for your clinic
ChatGPT search reads Bing, and Bing is 3.96% of UAE search (Statcounter, September 2026), so it is easy to skip. Claiming the free listing is a short job. Use the same clinic name, address, +971 number and opening hours you used in step 7.
How to check it worked Your clinic comes up on Bing Maps with the right hours and the right phone number.
Step 9. Add a short answer block in patient words
At the end of each treatment page, add three questions with three short answers under them. Use the exact wording patients use at the desk, such as "is it painful" and "how many visits will I need". Two or three plain sentences each is plenty, and never promise a result, because the health advertising rules do not allow it.
How to check it worked Each treatment page ends with three questions a patient really asked you this month.
Step 10. Ask the five questions again on day 30, day 60 and day 90
Ask the same five questions in the same kind of fresh window, and write down the date and the clinic names again. Compare that against the page you made in step 2 and count how many of the five answers now carry your clinic. That count is the only number worth putting in front of your partners.
How to check it worked You have four dated name lists, and you can say how many of the five questions name your clinic today.
The checklist
Tick them off as you go.
We never see your ticks. They stay on the phone or laptop you ticked them on, so you can come back to the list next week.
10 steps to tick.
