The size of the gap
DataReportal counted 12.5 million social media user identities in the UAE in October 2025, about 110% of the total population, with 11.3 million internet users and 99.0% online penetration (DataReportal, November 2025). This is one of the most connected populations on earth.
And 64% of working age people here used AI in 2025, the highest share of any country (Microsoft AI Economy Institute, January 2026). The same people scrolling reels are asking an assistant who to hire. The two behaviours sit side by side, and only one of them reads your website.
Why the content does not travel
- It is video and audio, and the explanation lives in the speech, not in text a crawler can index
- Captions are short, and crawlers frequently hit a login wall instead of the post
- There is no address, no price and no permit number attached in a form a machine can parse
- A post has a shelf life of days, and answer engines prefer pages that persist and get updated
- Nothing there is structured data, so even the facts you do state cannot be read as facts
None of that makes social worthless. It makes it a different instrument. Social creates demand and trust with people. Your website creates evidence for machines. Businesses that confuse the two end up famous locally and invisible in the answer.
Move the words, keep the channel
You have almost certainly already written the content an answer engine needs. It is in your DMs, your captions and your saved stories. The job is a copy job, not a creation job.
- Take the ten questions you answer most often in DMs and give each one a page or a clear section on your site
- Turn every explainer reel into a written page with the same explanation, the AED price and the location
- Publish before and after work as images on your own pages, with text describing what was done and where, within the rules your regulator sets
- Put the offer, the price and the process in text, not only in a story highlight
- Link your social profiles from your site and your site from your profiles, so the two are connected in a machine-readable way
The rules follow the content
Whatever you publish, the UAE advertising rules apply on your own site as much as on social. The Advertiser Permit regime covers paid and unpaid promotion across social media, websites and blogs (UAE Government, media regulation), and health advertising has its own standards on claims and patient material (Dubai Health Authority). Moving a claim from a reel to a web page does not make an unsupportable claim safe.
A week of moving content across
This is a copying job with a deadline, not a content strategy. Five short sessions and the important things are somewhere a machine can read them.
- Monday: open your DMs and write down the ten questions you answer most often, in the customer's words
- Tuesday: write the two answers you give most, as two pages, with the AED price and the area named
- Wednesday: turn your three best explainer reels into written pages saying the same thing
- Thursday: add your address with the emirate, your +971 number and your hours as text on every page
- Friday: link every social profile from the site and the site from every profile, and add LocalBusiness structured data
None of that requires new ideas. You have already tested this material on an audience and know which parts land. All you are changing is where it lives.
