What happens when someone asks AI for an aesthetic clinic
The question arrives with the outcome in it. Who does natural looking lip filler in Dubai, and roughly what does it cost. The assistant answers with a paragraph and two to five clinics by name.
Dubai had approximately 5,800 licensed health facilities in 2025 (Dubai Media Office, February 2026), and one secondary source puts more than 300 licensed providers in Dubai offering botulinum toxin treatments (Zavis guide, April 2026, indicative rather than official). Almost none of them are describable in a way a model can use.
There is a second audience too. Dermatology accounted for 27% of 691,000 international health tourists to Dubai in 2023 (Dubai Media Office, August 2024). Those patients decide from another country on text alone.
Readable, verified and trusted
Three legs hold up every AI answer about a clinic, and this industry usually breaks the first one by hiding its treatments behind marketing language.
Readable
One page per treatment, named clinically: botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, skin boosters, laser hair removal, chemical peels, radiofrequency microneedling. Real selectable text, fast on a phone.
Verified
The same clinic name, address, phone and treatment list on Google Business Profile, Bing Places and the health listings that carry you, with doctors described using their licensed titles.
Trusted
Recent reviews that name the treatment, doctor bios with qualifications and licence details, and a site updated this year.
Fix them in that order. Beautiful photography over unreadable text is the most common failure we see in this industry.
Step one: Google Business Profile
Statcounter put Google at 95.8% of UAE search in August 2026, and Google AI Mode has run here in English and Arabic since October 2025 (Google, October 2025). For an aesthetic clinic the profile is also the safest place to be specific, because it is structured rather than persuasive.
Category and services
List treatments individually and clinically. A model matching a filler question to a clinic needs to see the treatment named, not a package title.
District
Jumeirah, Business Bay, Dubai Marina, Dubai Healthcare City, Al Maryah Island, Al Majaz. Patients narrow by district and so do answers.
Doctors, described correctly
Use the title on the licence. The Dubai Health Authority standards specifically forbid alternatives such as aesthetic consultant or cosmetologist.
The questions section
Seed it with what reception is asked: how long a treatment lasts, what the consultation costs, what the aftercare is.
The citation spine for aesthetic clinics in the UAE
Unlike dental, this vertical has real editorial and directory footholds, which makes it faster to move if you know which doors to knock on.
Grazia Middle East
Held position one for aesthetic clinic queries in our checks with a named guide listing eleven clinics. The single most quotable asset type in this category.
Google Business Profile and Maps
The local pack, and the review surface a model reads first.
Doctify
The only genuine UAE booking and review directory to take a number one slot anywhere in our healthcare checks. Claim it and keep it accurate.
Dr Five
Runs per city and per specialty review ranking templates that models reach for.
RealSelf
Took position three on cosmetic queries in our checks and carries procedure level authority.
Time Out Dubai and Lovin Dubai
The local editorial layer. One accurate listing here outlives a month of posts.
Bilingual details and schema
Your clinic name, address and phone should read the same in English and Arabic on every listing that carries both, with the +971 code everywhere. Clinics in this market change trading names more often than most, so old listings under an old name are common and they split your signal in half.
Add MedicalClinic structured data with the legal name, the address including the emirate, the phone, opening hours and areaServed, MedicalProcedure entries for treatments, Physician entries for doctors, and FAQPage markup on your question blocks. It will not make you the answer on its own. It removes the ambiguity that keeps you out of it.
The pages an assistant lifts from
Published UAE ranges give a sense of what patients are asking about: botulinum toxin at AED 800 to 1,500 per area and AED 2,000 to 4,000 for a three area treatment, injectable fillers from AED 1,500, and laser hair removal at AED 300 to 1,500 per session (Zavis cost guide, April 2026, a secondary source). Use your own figures, and follow your regulator on how price is presented.
One page per treatment
Clinically named, with what it is, who it suits, what it involves, how long it lasts, what the risks are and what aftercare looks like.
A consultation page
What happens at the first appointment and what it costs. Time limited free consultation offers are exactly the pattern the standards name as not acceptable.
A doctor page per clinician
Qualification, licence, the treatments they perform, languages. Titles must match the licence.
A risks and aftercare page
The page nobody builds, and the one an assistant quotes when a patient asks whether something is safe.
An FAQ block on every treatment page
Three or four sentences per answer, in patient words, with the caveats included rather than removed.
Reviews that name the treatment
A review that says which treatment was done, by whom, and how the follow up went is usable in an answer. A star average is not. Ask after the review appointment, in writing, with a direct link, and never offer anything in exchange.
Reply to reviews without discussing a named patient's care and without claiming a result. That restraint is a rule and it is also the reply a model can quote safely.
Semrush found the pages ChatGPT cites rank 21st or worse in ordinary search almost 90% of the time (Semrush, July 2025), which is why a clinic can rank well and still never be named.
